Judicial Overreach or Adventurism: Unwarranted in a democracy

India is a sovereign democratic republic that stands on three pillars i.e Legislative, executive, judiciary and whose polity is based on a synthesis of parliamentary sovereignty and judicial supremacy. The various provisions in our constitution are solely based on the mistrust between various bodies of the state and the judiciary has been left independent so as to keep a check on the tyranny of the executive and the arbitrary laws of the legislature but what if the judiciary starts to play the role of an executive or a legislature?

In a democracy a government is for the people, by the people and of the people so if the legislature passes any law or the executive passes any order they are accountable and answerable to the people directly or indirectly or to the court of law but what if same functions are performed by the courts who are going to keep the courts in check for acting as an executive or a legislator, judges are "our lords" and "lords" are not accountable or answerable to the people, the constitution derives its power from. So, technically the courts should not be framing laws or dictating executive orders rather they should only tell which order, acts, law, legislation are not in the true letter and spirit of the constitution.

Few judicial overreaches:

1) Proactive Censorship in the case of Jolly LLB 2 (Movie).

2) All present in the hall are obliged to stand up to show respect to the National Anthem.

3) Banning of firecrackers during Diwali.

4) All the cinema halls in India shall play the National Anthem before the feature film starts.

5) Staying of farm bills without analyzing their constitutional validity.

If the judiciary itself is going to review its executive orders or legislative decisions isn't it the violation of the very first principle of natural justice based on which Article 50 is considered to be the basic structure of the constitution. Being the guardian of the constitution judiciary should strictly restraint itself from any adventurism whatsoever.
